The JavaScript Japanese Input Module makes it
possible to input Japanese characters on systems
where there is no Japanese input module installed. It
supports the input of Japanese using the normal
Latin keyboard and automatically converts characters
to hiragana or katakana alphabets. Pressing the
space key pops up a kanji selection (about 3000 kanji
are supported), and pressing enter pastes the
Japanese text to the caller form. It has been tested
with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and Mozilla.
